Gifts for Guests and a ‘Very Washington, DC’

Very Washington, D.C.: A Celebration of the History and Culture of America’s Capital City written and illustrated by Diana Hollingsworth Gessler is a wonderful gift to provide to guests that have traveled to the area to share your wedding day with you.  I would also give this book as a gift for a Washington, DC themed or perhaps even Fourth of July themed wedding.

Diana’s book showcases full-color maps, sketches, and watercolor paintings depicting Washington, DC’s landmarks, memorials, parks, and noteworthy restaurants.  The addition of historic details and quirky facts makes this book a wonderful keepsake.  Her book looks amazing.  I’ll have to get one for myself! 

An added plus is Mrs. Gessler has written and illustrated books for other parts of the country as well so couples getting married out of state can provide one of Mrs. Gessler’s books as a gift too.  The book on New Orleans looks equally intriguing!
