Daily Candy, the insider’s guide to what’s hot, new, and undiscovered has joined the wedding arena with their Daily Candy Weddings website.  While perusing the site I came across an interesting tidbit provided by Catherine Chen who is a recent bride.  When asked to provide “one interesting factoid/piece of advice you learned while planning the wedding” Catherine answered “Befriend your vendors. Set the tone of your wedding by being gracious and generous with those who are helping to make your day perfect.”

Amen Catherine.  Ladies and Gentlemen please treat your vendors with respect.  Do not be Bridezillas or Groomzillas.  Yes it’s not just the ladies.  We are all here to help, we work our fannies off, and we go the extra mile to ensure you have the perfect day.  Especially remember to feed the vendors that have been with you for a large portion of the day.   After all, you don’t want your photographer or videographer fainting from lack of sustenance just when you’re ready to cut the cake…
