The Brides Against Breast Cancer wedding gown sale is continuing today starting at 10:00 am.  Next stop is Miami so be sure to go while they’re still in town. 

Yesterday I voluteered and had a great time helping brides find their ideal wedding dress, try on dresses, find other dresses that might work, and provided unbiased opinions on what dress(es) really made them look stunning. 

I worked with one lovely woman for an hour.  We found a dress that she fell in love with.   The detail on that dress…wow!  I hope she returns today to purchase the gown if it is what she truly wants.  It is a couture Anne Barge gown valued at $4200 and priced at $1300.  The bride and her fiance’ have not set a date, nor have they decided if they will marry in the DC area so I understand her hesitance in purchasing.  I did suggest they go to dinner and think on it and return later.  I’m sure if the gown is meant for her it will still be there…there waiting for her.
