Seven Layer Caramel Cake

The first time I heard of Caroline’s Seven Layer Caramel Cake my first thought was that it would be like eating a bowl of caramel…too sweet and not something that I might like.  I was pleasantly surprised.  The description fits the cake perfectly…  “seven layers of moist yellow cake are coated with Caroline’s famous “melt-in-your-mouth” Caramel Icing.”  The caramel icing is a perfect complement to the cake and is quite addictive.
