Cool & Unique Furniture for Your Special Event

The really really fun part of my job is the research. I do a lot of things and go to a lot of places in the name research. Typically my plus 1 on these research trips includes a camera of some sort to capture “research photos” so I can remeniesce and share.
I recently “researched” at AFR Event Furnishings Launch Party. OMG what an event! It was incredible!
Why? Well, for starters the event was held at Long View Gallery. It had my attention right there… Long View Gallery is a beautiful and elegant space. You can dress it up however you want. The gallery is in DC close to the convention center, i.e. it’s easy to find, Metro accessible, convenient to get to from Maryland or Virginia, has valet parking option or there’s free parking (yes there is some free parking in DC!), and has cool outdoor space.
So, getting back to AFR Event Furnishings, Heidi Berger, who is awesomely creative and a sweetheart, and her phenomenal colleagues put together a beautiful event featuring great food, sleek, cool, modern, and trendy furniture (it looked awesome), and topped it off with some phenomenal networking which meant I made a number of great new connections in the form of new vendors.
Here are some of the cool furniture pieces:

This table was made interactive by adding a piece of slate to write on. Heidi asked us to, so I did… My comment is signed @zurianas (follow me on Twitter) in the upper right hand corner. Consider how FUN and INTERACTIVE you can make your event for your guests. Be sure to have your photographer capture photos of guests laughing over their remarks!

This little table was made extraordinary and romantic by rose petals, a chandelier votive candle holder, and candles.

Psst, be sure to tell Heidi that Holly said hello!
